Experience is Everything

I stand alone on the shore and look out at the deep blue horizon, reflecting the clear cerulean sky—more vivd than Cillian's eyes—waves of blue light flowing into my own. Above, a black kite soars, its cry drowned out by the rhythmic roars of the tide.

I smell the salt in the air, washing down the taste of convenience fried chicken with warm, bitter beer. Can’t outrun time; it slips away like grains of sand in an hourglass, falling into my shoes—irritating.

Cold splashes of water brush my cheek, and a gust of wind caresses my skin as I gaze at a ship vanishing behind a distant island. No man is an island —we are all connected, bound by currents seen and unseen.

An echo of reflection, resonating between what lies beyond the horizon and what lies beneath the surface, evokes a deep sense of change within me.

Lucky to be.

where meaning is born.
